Latest convention brochure on,,, the Governing Body

i've finally get my hands on a pdf of one of the two newly released brochures, this one entitled "who are doing jehovah's will today?".

predictably, the brochure is extremely vague on key topics.

today, i informed a co-worker that we were in the last day of the last days.

his eyebrow informed me i had better explain.. with this thread fresh on my mind from this morning ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/beliefs/227971/1/statement-from-heaven ), i told him what was being reported from the highest levels of the wt society and that they were getting this information first hand... from heaven.. .

I never saw the film and most critics seem to wish they never had.

Did Godzilla actually migrate to Manhattan as is reported? I tend to believe he did since my cartoon is based on that fact. Of course, if you didn't see him, perhaps he came invisibly like Jesus -- as is famously claimed by you-know-who.

Is the 10 Hour Per Month Requirement Still In Force?

are there any active elders/ms or higher out there who can advise if one of the requirements for appointment is that the person's fs time is equal to or greater than either the congregation's average or the national average?

this used to be the case, but may have been relaxed.

also is the branch still approving appointments?

Greetings! My first post

hello all at jwn!

i have been a lurker here the last few months and have been going through the process of researching both sides of the story of jehovahs witnesses.

i was raised in the borg, got married and now have a young child.. my wife is very much dedicated to the organization and will justify anything the "slave" does putting it off on the borgs imperfection.

Here's a tip that may be useful. An 11 minute read that includes a handout for your billfold (or purse for women). THE GREAT WATCHT0WER CONTRADICTION will pose a challenging question or 10 for even the diehard JW because of the more than 20 quotations -- all but one can be found on the WT Library CD.
